Imagine This: Getting Naked Often & Loving It

How often do you get naked in front of the mirror? I suggest getting naked all the time. It may sound funny and seem uncomfortable at first—but you’ll get the hang of it. Spending time naked in front of the mirror or walking around your apartment in the buff will make you more comfortable with your body. When you are comfortable being naked in your own skin, you’ll become more confident and happier – this will be noticeable by others, not just yourself.

Most of us grumble how we don’t like our bodies in the nude. We focus on what’s wrong with our bodies rather than seeing the beauty of our unique curves. You need to learn how to judge your body less. Take small steps like:

  • Dancing naked
  • Sleeping in the nude
  • Posing nude

In the beginning, it may seem mortifying to do all these things but loving loving how you look naked will do wonders for your:

  • Self-esteem
  • Self-confidence
  • Overall health

1. Dancing Naked

Put on your favourite song and dance naked in your living room. My favourite getting naked song is “Dancing With Myself” by Billy Idol. Whatever song you choose, give it all you’ve got. There’s really nothing to lose. Have fun, move your body, and let go. You’ll see the difference after a song or two. Your adrenalin is at an all-time high, your whole body is pink and bright, and you feel like you’re on top of the world — not to mention you’ll get a great work out at the same time.

2. Sleeping Nude 

It may seem bizarre to think that sleeping in the nude will make your body healthier but one lady part of yourself will thank you — and that’s your vagina. Warm environments are an ideal breeding ground for infections, especially bacterial ones. so sleeping without your underwear is healthier than you’d expect. Also, sleep experts claim that you will sleep more soundly without your clothes on because cooler environments lead to better sleep.

3. Strike A Pose With Your Birthday Suit

It’s tough not to feel so vulnerable when your stark naked, but trust me, I learned to love myself even more by posing nude. Make sure you pick a trusted photographer or get your best friend to do it for you. Posing nude is an empowering experience that’s unforgettable. You honour yourself for who you are, just the way you are. So embrace your uniqueness and don’t under estimate the power of baring it all. After having the courage to pose nude, I feel better and ready to take on the world.

Are you convinced? Are you ready to get naked? Remember that it’s about getting yourself to a place of inner peace and happiness because you’re able to love your body with all its imperfections and beauty in the nude. When you walk tall and proud of who you are (by daring to go naked as a daily self-care habit), you’re sense of self-worth and confidence improves over time—which makes it all worth it.
